169 Leads in a Month, and a 47-Patient Record Day

How Patient Care Marketing Pros rebuilt a stalled Google Ads account for AFC in Texas — and turned $10,000 a month of frustration into the clinic's best day on record.

The Challenge

$10,000 a month, and volume going the wrong way

Twelve months after opening, AFC was spending around $7,000 a month across PPC, Google Business Profile and SEO — and watching daily volume fall from 22 patients in winter to 12 or 13 by March, despite nearly $10,000 in PPC that month. The clinic had the location, a 4.9 rating and 291 reviews. What it did not have was an ad account that worked.

What We Did

Stop patching the account and rebuild it

The audit showed a high cost per conversion and assets set up poorly enough that tuning them was not the answer. Starting over was.

01

Audit

Find where the money was going

With view access to the existing account we traced the cost per conversion and found assets that had never been set up to perform.

02

Rebuild

Start the account from scratch

The analysis was clear enough that a fresh build beat another round of fixes. We rebuilt the campaigns rather than patching what was already there.

03

Target

Aim at the services the clinic offers

Ad copy, keywords and targeting parameters written around AFC's own service mix, so the ads reached patients nearby who needed exactly what the clinic provides.

04

Convert

Bring the cost per patient down

Clear calls to action and tighter targeting cut the cost per conversion while sending more traffic to the clinic.

The Results

The best patient day in the clinic's history

Within two months the rebuilt account delivered 169 leads in May at a $9 cost per conversion, and the clinic recorded its highest patient day ever: 47 patients through the door in a single day.

Spending less on a account that finally works.

Patching a broken account vs. rebuilding it

The budget was never the problem. Twelve months of spending proved that an account built wrong does not improve by spending more through it.
