Urgent Care · Launch
From 2.3 Patients a Day to Nearly 9
How Patient Care Marketing Pros launched VC Urgent Care in Lehi, Utah — from an empty schedule to almost four times the daily patient volume.
The Challenge
A brand-new clinic with no patients and no visibility
VC Urgent Care opened in August 2025 with no brand recognition, no patient history and no paid advertising. The opening month averaged 2.3 patients a day. In a competitive Utah market, organic growth alone was never going to reach the volume the clinic needed — and it needed it quickly, with acquisition costs under control.
What We Did
Put the clinic in front of patients already searching
A Google Ads strategy built around high-intent local searches, structured by service line and tuned month over month so volume could rise without cost per patient rising with it.
01
Demand
Target high-intent local searches
Campaigns built around the searches that end in a visit: urgent care near me, walk-in clinic and same-day care across Lehi and the surrounding area.
02
Structure
Build campaigns around the service lines
Each core service got its own structure — illness and injury, on-site lab, digital X-ray, sports and DOT physicals — so the ad always matched what the patient actually typed.
03
Convert
Lead with walk-in availability and hours
Ad copy put the two things a patient in a hurry needs first: no appointment necessary, and open seven days a week until 8:30 p.m.
04
Optimize
Refine targeting and bidding every month
Targeting and bids were adjusted continuously against booked appointments rather than clicks, so volume climbed while cost per conversion stayed efficient.
The Results
Nearly four times the daily patient volume
Patient volume rose 52% in the first month of ads alone, from 4.8 to 7.3 patients a day, and kept climbing through March and April. April 2026 was the clinic's best month on record, and its best single day brought 21 patients through the door.
From 2.3 patients a day at open to nearly 9: a 4x increase in daily volume, with a best day of 21 patients.
A launch that found its patients, not one that waited for them.
Opening with no patients vs. opening with demand
Nothing about the clinic changed between January and April. What changed was whether the patients searching for urgent care in Lehi could find it.
